When Jessica and Enrique asked my team and I to plan and design their wedding at The Mezz we were tickled pink. The Mezz is not only an inspiring, modern, artful venue but is also one of Orlando’s newest so we were very excited to see it in action. Located on the second floor of The Sanctuary hi-rise, The Mezz was the right venue for the magical and romantic wedding Jessica had envisioned.

We were honored to have the details of Jessica and Enrique’s wedding featured in Orlando Home & Leisure’s January 2012 issue under “Three Visions, Three Weddings – Traditional and Hip” section. Their wedding concept and detail was not only inspiring but really showed how important it is to have a dream.

Attention all: Orange Appeal Magazine just launched their Winter issue and among other amazing weddings was one of our very own! We’re so excited to have Stephanie and Barton’s wedding featured inside. The beautiful couple, who enjoyed their first date at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion, knew they wanted to be together forever after just a few days.

The Ceremony and Reception were both held at The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes with a color scheme of red, white, and gold. Please check out all their amazing details on page 100 of the issue.

The Ballroom at Church Street New Year’s Eve wedding

Another year closes and lucky for Michelle and Patrick who chose to have their wedding on New Year’s Eve. This wedding might be one of my favorites this year! Michelle looks stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown and the decor at The Ballroom at Church Street is absolutely gorgeous. Caroline Johnson did a great job of capturing some beautiful images!

The couple decided to get married on New Years Eve and before the clock struck midnight Michelle changed into a super cute short dress as everybody danced and watched the ball drop on a projection screen with a toast.

One of my favorite things was asking everyone to write down 3 resolutions for the new year and seal in an envelope to open the following year. As I made my list of New Years Goals, I decided to make some for this blog:

Jacksonville, FL Wedding at The Club Continental

We had so much fun planning for Laura and Eddie’s special day on the 10th of December, 2011. They were married in the historic old church at St. Joseph’s, Jacksonville’s oldest Catholic church. Their Reception at The Club Continental was absolutely transformed by the amazing details and decor, from the blue up lighting and outdoor hookah lounges to the display of lanterns by the dance floor. We’d like to give a special thanks to Suhaag Garden, A Glamour Bride by Faythe, 5 Thirteen Designs, Resort Talent, PRI Productions, Choux Designer Cakes, and Agnes Lopez Photography for capturing these perfect pictures!

Wedding at the Country Club of Orlando

What a stunning wedding, congratulations to Stephanie & John! Their special day began with a traditional Ceremony at Knowles Chapel with elegant music provided by A Beautiful Music. Truly amazing floral designed by Lee James paired with the unique decor of Raining Roses helped create a gorgeous Reception at the Country Club of Orlando. A dynamic color combination of lighting provided by Kaleidoscopic accentuated the room nicely. The fun continued throughout the night with a party photobooth, a 9 piece variety band BuzzCatz getting their guests up and moving, Old Fashion Cigar rolling their guest’s cigars, and Messina Productions providing MC and after party music. Thank you Damon Tucci photography for capturing how beautiful the evening really was, as well as Panache Party Rentals, Bake Me A Cake, BBJ linens, and About Face for the amazing quality of work.

Central Park In Your Backyard

We love a themed wedding, especially when it’s for such an amazing couple. Congratulations Candace & Ivi! This couple really wanted to showcase their special city, Manhattan. The city they live in, met in and fell in love in. Heather recreated their beloved city right here in Orlando, at our very own beautiful Waldorf Astoria. Special thanks to Greenery Productions for providing amazing outdoor ceremony and reception decor, which embodied the couple’s clean, modern style. The Central Park backdrop was a perfect addition to the reception, which was paired with dramatic lighting provided by American AV. A big thanks to our other vendors Harpist Christine MacPhail, A Chair Affair, Pure Magic Ice, LeJeaune Hair & Make up Artistry, Shanna Michele Designs, and Shipra PanosianPhotography for the stunning photographs!

Real Wedding – Portofino Bay Hotel

The romantic surroundings of Lowe’s Portofino Bay made for a traditional and sophisticated ceremony and reception. Glamorous personal touches like jewel framed escort cards and hanging crystals on their centerpieces helped to make their day unique and exquisite. Linda was able to provide a new detail around every corner, ending with a grand finale tossing colorful rose petals into the air. American Audio Visual created a custom gobo that carried their motto “Today I Marry The One” which glowed on the dance floor where DJ Carl Entertainment worked his magic. Bright pink uplighting to the Venetian Ballroom accented what seemed like a million flowers in the centerpieces provided by Greenery Productions…truly amazing. Special thanks to Bonnie Garfield and the team at Portofino Bay for helping make this day fabulous. As well as Castaldo Studio for capturing every picture-perfect moment.

Real Wedding – Darcy and Bill

Darcy and Bill’s wedding day began with their beautiful ceremony at the Holy Family Catholic Church and concluded with the festivities at the extravagant Waldorf Astoria.
