Young and fabulous couple Merrick and Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) Colin were married on June 20th, 2009 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Maitland, Florida. Beautiful Music set the mood as guests witnessed the nuptials. Following the ceremony and as tradition for military weddings, the couple walked under the arch of swords. This promenade is meant to represent the couple’s safe transition into their new life together.
The celebration continued at Heathrow Country Club where friends and family joined together in a room beautifully decorated by Lee James Floral Design. After a fabulous dinner the guests danced the night away to music provided by Uptown Band.
