Divya and Ashish’s ceremony was filled with colorful details and festive traditions. A huge thank you to our vendors; Occasions by Shangri La for an incredible design, Damon Tucci Photography and Fandango for documenting the celebration, DJ Sharad for the energy, dancing, and great music provided. We’d also like to thank Divya and Ashish’s parents, family and friends for allowing us to be part of their special day, it was truly a memorable experience.

One of our favorite traditions, the Gari occurs before the wedding day and entails rubbing a tumeric paste on the groom’s skin. The Medhi follows with henna on the bride’s hands and arms along with her family, friends, and gorgeous gold bangles.

Wedding Vignette Inspiration

We imagined our vignette as if it were a small glimpse of a newlywed’s suite on their wedding night, and we were thrilled on how it presented itself. Classy, soft, and romantic were 3 words to describe Weddings Unique’s vignette showcasing AFR’s ghost collection at the Majestic Event Center.

Within our vignette; fresh aromatics of Wed Scents, romantic tunes of Marvin Gaye and Al Green, soft florals designed by Lee James, scattered candles, a dazzling gown from The Collection, and of course the amazing drape to finish off the space.

Our favorite part of the vignette were the mini wedding cakes created by the very talented team at Sugar Suite and a love poem designed by our fabulous graphic designer Jessica.

When Jessica and Enrique asked my team and I to plan and design their wedding at The Mezz we were tickled pink. The Mezz is not only an inspiring, modern, artful venue but is also one of Orlando’s newest so we were very excited to see it in action. Located on the second floor of The Sanctuary hi-rise, The Mezz was the right venue for the magical and romantic wedding Jessica had envisioned.

We were honored to have the details of Jessica and Enrique’s wedding featured in Orlando Home & Leisure’s January 2012 issue under “Three Visions, Three Weddings – Traditional and Hip” section. Their wedding concept and detail was not only inspiring but really showed how important it is to have a dream.

Darcy and Bill’s wedding day began with their beautiful ceremony at the Holy Family Catholic Church and concluded with the festivities at the extravagant Waldorf Astoria.
